MFT (Managed File Transfer) applications secure and provide audit trails for large file exchanges that would otherwise be sent via FTP, email, or postal mail. All three of these alternative methods introduce data security risks, do not provide necessary audit trails, and can be very time consuming for IT departments to manage and for senders to transmit. This new release of EasyLink MFT further streamlines partner collaboration with functionality such as web-based file uploads and downloads, trading partner access to the MFT portal, and improved at-a-glance dashboard interfaces. "EasyLink MFT 1.2 is a real improvement on our Managed File Transfer service. It upgrades our very strong connectivity, visibility and security capabilities with significant collaboration services.
